KumoScaleTM software fully supports the standards needed to seamlessly integrate into your data center infrastructure:
- Standards-based NVMe-oFTM Technology: KumoScale software uses the fully standardized native NVMe-oF protocol and is certified by the UNH NVMe-oF Integrators List. KIOXIA is deeply involved in the NVMe-oF work group and aggressively supports NVMeTM specification standardization initiatives.
- Standards-based Orchestration: KumoScale software supports bare metal, OpenStack® and Kubernetes® environments via an open RESTful API.
- Standards-based Telemetry: KumoScale technology collects physical SSD data and volume workload statistics, which may be sent out to external Time Series Databases (TSDB), providing system health monitoring and budget planning information. Two models of telemetry output are supported – ‘push’ telemetry (such as the Graphite® TSDB model) and ‘pull’ telemetry (such as the Prometheus® TSDB).
