KumoScale Grafana Metrics

You can view metrics on your KumoScale environment by selecting the desired parameter from the Metrics pull-down menu as shown below:

 The table below shows the parameters available with a brief description of the values in each.

Parameter

Description

ks_connected_replica_state

Equal to one of the following:
0=Available
1=Terminating
2=Missing
3=Unknown

4=Synchronizing

ks_connected_volumes_state

Equal to 0 if node is available, 1 if node is unavailable. To be 0=Available, at least one replica is Available (i.e. ks_connected_replica_state equals Available.)

ks_node_free_bw_bytes_per_sec

Total free bandwidth (bytes/second) on the node

ks_node_free_capacity_byes

Total free capacity (bytes) on the node

ks_node_free_iops

Total free IOps (IO per second) on the node

ks_node_state

Equal to 1 if node is available, 2 if node is unavailable

ks_node_used_bw_bytes_per_sec

Total used bandwidth (bytes/second) on the node

ks_node_used_capacity_bytes

Total used capacity (bytes)

ks_node_used_iops

Total used iops on the storage node.

ks_vol_capacity_bytes

Total capacity of the volume

ks_volume_ssd_used_capacity_bytes

Sum of the capacity of all sub-volumes that  belongs to a volume on the same SSD.

ks_volume_utilized_capacity_bytes

Number of written bytes on the volume

ks_volume_used_capacity_bytes

For thick volumes, this displays capacity. For thin volumes, this displays snapshot or snapshot volume; its reserved space.
